CERTIFIED ITALIAN BIRTH, MARRIAGE OR DEATH RECORDS FROM ITALY

Suitable for Dual Citizenship applications, proving legal heirs, or if you just want to have the official version of your ancestor’s vital record.  $130 each. Some towns in Italy may apply additional fees.

PROBATE

IDENTIFY AND LOCATE LEGAL HEIRS IN ITALY for estate matters

Advance retainer required.  Total cost depends on number of people, geographic location, and method of research. We cannot know in advance of conducting the research how many heirs will be found to exist. A preliminary review will be done of your unique situation.

FAMILY TREES  

Single session  $500. After that, $399/sesion if you wish to continue on with additional research. Hourly rate $50/hr.  Price does not include researching the full tree of sideline surnames who marry into the main family. 

Family History Book Project.  Fully developed tree. $399/month (every month) after the initial session at $500.  This can take from six months to a year, or two years, depending on the size of the family in your ancestral village. No contracts.  Cancel subscription any time.  Also consider a modified project. eg.: Three month project.

DISCOVER YOUR TOWN OF ORIGIN: 

$598 advance retainer ($50/hr)  

We have a high success rate and almost always locate the town of origin so that your lineage can get started.   Due diligence will be applied, with the best effort possible given. We’ll find it eight out ten times within this budget.  It could be a lot of work, depending on the situation, or might be found quickly and the balance used to start the actual tree. We’re pretty experienced at the systematic effort this sort of quest takes.   A preliminary review will give some insight or how it might go for your unique case, after examining your starting details.

ONSITE RESEARCH:

Typically needed for church records, especially to extend a lineage into earlier centuries before the start of civil records,. tombstone research at a cemetery, village photos, or library research.  This is usually a one day project done by a researcher in Italy.

Each case is unique. Travel fees may apply and depend on the individual research specialist and his/her location in relation to the site.  Expect a min. 50 euros an hour (approx. 4 hrs.) for a day, plus PCIR service charge.

VISIT YOUR ANCESTRAL VILLAGE/Genealogy Travel

Available through PCIR only for Sicily.  **To meet living relatives requires that research be done in advance of the trip. We’ll need to research the tree forward to get that point, but also need to go back in time at least a little bit to find the common ancestor before the period of mass immigration.  If you only want the private tour and/or translator on your trip to Sicily, this can be arranged (with no research involved). Just fill out the form for the tourguide regarding your personal needs on the trip and you will get a quote.
